Contacts Privacy Policy

Dodate Group ("we," "our," or "us") provides the Contacts mobile application. We recognize that your address book contains private information, and we are committed to protecting the privacy of both you and your contacts.

By using the App, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

2. Permissions and Data Access

To provide contact management features, the App requires access to sensitive data. We only access this data to provide the core functionality of the App.

READ_CONTACTS / WRITE_CONTACTS: Required to display, edit, and manage your address book. This data is processed locally on your device.

CALL_PHONE: Required to allow you to initiate calls directly from the contact list.

POST_NOTIFICATIONS: Required to show missed call alerts or contact-related reminders.

3. Information Collection and Use

We do not upload your contact list to our servers or share your contacts' personal information with third parties. However, we collect certain technical and behavioral data via integrated SDKs:

A. Analytics & Behavioral Tracking

We use the following tools to monitor app performance and user experience:

Google Analytics for Firebase: Tracks general app usage (e.g., how often the "Add Contact" button is pressed).

Microsoft Clarity: Captures behavioral metrics and heatmaps to improve UI/UX. It does not record sensitive contact data or keystrokes.

AppMetrica (Yandex): Used for marketing attribution and detailed performance analytics.

B. Advertising

Google AdMob: We display advertisements to keep this service free. AdMob may use your Advertising ID (AAID) to show relevant ads. AdMob does not have access to your contact list.

5. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data. Your contact database remains on your device. Any data transmitted to our analytics partners is encrypted in transit via HTTPS.

6. Children’s Privacy

This App is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Because this app manages contact data, we advise parents to monitor its use.

7. Your Rights (GDPR / CCPA)

Under global privacy laws, you have the right to:

Opt-out of Tracking: You can disable analytics in the App Settings.

Reset Advertising ID: Go to Android Settings > Google > Ads to reset your ID or opt-out of personalized ads.

Revoke Permissions: You can revoke Contact access at any time through Android System Settings, though the App will cease to function.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in our practices or legal requirements. We will notify you of any changes by updating the "Last Updated" date.
